Can't make it - thread

BBWF..in Blackpool, should be brilliant..but i won't be there.

Wedge is booked in at TVRPower for RR session it badly needs...unfortunately not in time for this weekend.

Also have my parents visiting Sat/Sun (fathers day).

Excuses, excuses...i know, anyone else?

Me, I've only driven the wedge twice since I've owned it (at least 2 months) rest of the time it's been off the road. Currently it's waiting for a new exhaust manifold before MOT.

Still, not long to go now!

I'm not happy I cant make it either. Date coincides with Jenson Button and co going round and round in circles and me drinking copious amounts of beer

Sorry guys but Im still under DO`s and having to take things easy so for first time ever sadly I shall miss BBWF.

However I`m sure Tony & the guys will give you all a great weekend up in Blockpool and BBWF will live up to its well earned reputation as best event of the year. Have a storming weekend all, and safe everyone

Well in true me style every job I decide to do on the Wedge leads to another. No manifolds on at the moment so although it would make a fantastic noise I better not risk it . I just got the car back together from an entire cooling system rebuild take it for MOT, passes, back in the garage and start taking it apart again! Oh well the only rusty bit left now is the exhaust system, need a new one to match to the mainfolds from ACT. So only ever having made the first Wedge Fest in a Wedge next year will be a certanty.

The Lynx-wedge is parked-up in the corner of the garage on a SORN at present with a list of jobs needing to be done so no BBWF this year. Hope you guys have a happy/safe wedgefest and hope to make Wedge-fest 2010!
