I have a problem with my new 400SE, it runs fine when it is cold(maybe a bit down on power)but once it is warm it will not accelerate properly, it splutters and hesitates above about 2k rpm.
I noticed that a previous owner has fitted an alloy swirl pot in the fuel system with no pre-filter before the pump, I am wondering could it be a fuel supply problem made worse when under bonnet temps are high or am I on completely the wrong track?
Thanks
Robert.

The engine temperature sensor sounds like the most likely starting point, and whatever you do, don't get an Intermotor one. They are about 12 quid.
I have been trying to find a local supplier of engine temp sensors and they only seem to have Intermotor ones, could you please let me know which makes should I be looking for and where can I get them? Thanks
Robert.
