Hi Rob, glad you got sorted, is it running better now? Off back to the factory tomorrow morning to see the latest progress on the White Elephant, will have a look in at Lawfield Engineering and see if the offer of a ride in the Green Monster is still available!!!!!

Hi Tony

Getting it fitted on Monday.

Problem was trying to find somewhere to fit it under the bonnet, bit cramped under there.

It was not really running bad, it runs ok with the old king lead, but the coil and particually the Amp will allow me to run it with the 10mm king lead as it will give it the extra power that it needs.

Top guys down there.

Rob

Did you get the DVDS copied mate?

Rob,

What brand 10mm leads, Magecors or whatever they're called?

What's the job of the ignition amplifier?

I understand what MSD controllers can do.

One and the same?

Have you got adjustable rev limiter?

My old girl is in with my local TVR centre for new Radtec ali rad and max cfm Spal fan + new otter switch.

Wood is in with ex-Rolls factory vaneer man.

Looking to have my car back in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Phil

The leads are Formula Power, 10mm Quad Core.

www.formulapower.com

The Amp will give a greater spark that the leads require in my case.

The package of Coil and Amp is what Lawfield where running on the 5000M.

Nice to see you cracking with the SEAC, Loved it at the BBWF.

Why do you need these for your 10mm leads ?

I've been running 10 mm leads for the last couple of years on the 450 on standard lucus dissy and coil with no probs

They seem to work ok on the larger engine like yours.

Mine is only a lil old 350.

Think I spoke to soon, it seems like my ignition amplifier has died on me , as I now have no sparks at all, either that or the coil is dead
