I was the first owner of a 350 SE. Red with grey interior.I think it was no.9. I hope she's still ok.

Hi Richard,

Having just sold my lovely 2003 Tuscan S 4.0 (after yearning for those halcyon V8 days but more especially a nice Wedge, just like those from my courting days)I am now the proud owner of your red 350 SE No.9.

I was intending to try and contact both you plus other previous owners,Andy Bennett and Martin O'neill etc to try and gain yet more history and ideally some more photos from its various travels etc to help compliment the ever growing history file of this car (currently approaching two binders full now).

I purchased the 350SE from a chap in Southgate, London on the 6th January this year and it now resides in Ipswich, Suffolk.

The car at this minute is in my local TVR specialist in Needham Market, Suffolk for at least a month, having major (all fluids) service, a thorough check/adjust or replace where applicable, a full top to toe medical, complete new hood, new wood veneers, full interior valet and leather refurb plus a few other minor jobs to bring her up to a top grade once again in time for the summer. She was in nice overall condition when I bought her but the hood and veneers were starting to show their 20 years. Current mileage around 68K (but only 24k on the replaced V8 Developments Ltd. lightened, ported, gas flowed, Kent 218 cam, 3947cc engine, as put in in 2000).

There is a photo on my profile (pre-tart up of course) and just as soon as I can figure out how to add photos to the posts, I will upload some photos before and after.

Will speak to you all again soon,

Regards,

Keith

Excellent news, I actually saw it on Ebay and contacted the seller. He clearly didnt do a lot of miles in it during his ownership.

New veneer, hood and leather refurb - will look wonderful!

Here is a website for the car created by Andy Bennett

If your heading Kent way let me know, be great to see her again.

Hi Guys,

'Grahamw48' kindly told me how to upload images to the posts, so I suppose I better also add one to this post just for info.

Anyway, here she is, still looking good (but pre-tart up of course). Can't wait for her to return in a few weeks with a new hood, new veneers, valeted, tuned up etc....roll on summer !!!!! - more photos to follow in a few weeks or so!!

Richard, I know it was sacrilege to leave the roof up but that was ice on the ground and it was about -5 degrees (or certainly felt it).....I'm obviously far less hardy than I once was. Don't fret as soon as the weather improves it'll be off again!!

Cheers,

Keith

Hi. Keith and Richard, its Tong.

Nice to see the 350SE again, had a look at some of the pictures and it seems to be in great condition and I see your looking after it very well. After selling the 350SE I bought a chimera 4.0 but just missed the power of the 350SE. I managed to sell the Chimaera and went out and bought a 450SE. What a car. Absolute shattering performance. Needs a bit of work so I booked it in at TVR Barnet for the mecanical work. Just got it back. Next year I hope to do the cosmetics on the body. I've put a link for you to look at below.
Richard I hope you are getting on well with your TVR. I know you look after your cars as I was so pleased with the 350SE you sold me. I used it whenever the weather was dry and it was great fun. I eventually sold it to Keith as you know, after doing some cosmetic work on it to get rid of stonechips and such. But all good things come to an end and I fancied a change. Now though I am back to a wedge and I am so pleased with the 450SE and I make any excuse just to take it out for a spin when the weather is dry. I also own a BMW450Ci convertible but its not as fun to drive as the TVR. Its just too quiet and too reliable.(but very powerful). Anyway hope to hear from you guys soon. Regards. Tong.
