Can anyone tell me the torque setting for the engine mounting brackets to the block? Not in my SD1 haynes manual and I am notorious for over-tightening stuff!

Cheers

I would think "good and tight but not too tight" would suffice for the job they do.
Turn it by hand, not with air tools, and feel through you hand what the bolt is doing. It'll let you know when tight is tight enough. For an uneducated guess, 40ft/lb give or take 10 lbs.

If there is no Torque setting use the General Torque setting page at for front for the size of the bolt.
