Creaky Pedal Box....!!
Discussion
V6 cable clutch i guess?
my V6 has a sort of creaky noise when pusing the clutch. thats due to the "strange" construction from tvr
n a normal car the pedal pulls the inner cable, but on a TVR its differnt: if you push the pedal the clutch cable mantle will get set under "pressure", the inner core of the cable is fixed somewhere underneath the dash by a stud and a nut.
this construction is on the early cars, was later changed to a "normal" design.
you can grease the pedal-shaft, the sleeve wich goes over the mantle, also the metal strip where the inner cable is placed on.

Surely that wouldn't be the most cost effective way to do it. Much better to buy a car where someone else has already done the work, at great expense my V6 has a sort of creaky noise when pusing the clutch. thats due to the "strange" construction from tvr
