Well no particular point to this post other than to get you fellow Wedgers to wish me luck.

My Tasmin disgraced me big style at Classic Le Mans 2008, well infact it didn't make 30 miles before we had to abandon it and go in my Dads focus hehe

Well last month after letting it sit and sulk for 12 months i connected the battery and this happened...

Now currently fully valeted, insured and booked in for its MOT 2pm on Tuesday in Darlington. If it passes i am off to the TR Register lakes tour next weekend and am going to see if i can get the bugger over the Hardnott pass without anything breaking, falling off or refusing to work hehe.

I do not need to tell you lot that the noise sent shivers down my spine and if someone had offered me several million pounds NOT to smile i would have failed! thumbup

Few piccy's from today...

P.S who drives the white Wdge i have seen a few times in the Yarm area? Nice!

Cheers,

I've seen that car before, has it been to any of the Wedgefests?

Haven't seen a white Wedge around these parts (I'm in Stockton); there used to be an ivory one which I believe is now in Cumbria, a silver 350SX (since sold) in Middlesbrough, a red 350 (not seen for a while, owner used to post on here), a green 280FHC and my 390SE. There's also an early 390SE on a driveway in Fairfield but it hasn't moved for some time.

Nice website and cars - small world, i used to work in Stockton.

Our TVR used to be quite popular in the club scene i believe, owned by a guy called GavinR? It seems to have had a lot of Mods done to it in preparation for track work, apart from that seems totally original and came with a lot of history. I Travel past fairfield quite often so will keep my eyes peeled for the 390SE, Shame.

The white one followed me through Yarm out towards the A19 and we parted company at the shell garage on the roundabout - he headed in the direction of Stokesley.

Would be good to catch up at somepoint and see your car, any local meets?

Cheers.
