Have been having trouble with me drivers door and the rear window runner, I have noticed that the passenger door has a cut back recess on the door near the top of the rear runner, but the drivers door don’t thus when the window is up it is further back on the Hood than the passenger side? Any ideas chaps!!!!
Both runners are adjustable. Have you looked behind the door card? If so you will see the runners are bolted to the foot of the door. Check to make sure they are tightened up ok, if they are slack the runner will move about meaining the window will not be lined up ok etc. It's a simple job to adjust only requiring some trial and error to get the exact alignment. You sould be able to get the rear runner tight against the door before tightening up.
