Screen's milky at the corners and has a few chips.

Man at windscreen 'manufacturer' said I have green with blue top tint on the shelf but you can have any colour combo you want, bronze, blue, green, grey or whatever colour I want.

Told the insurers I did not want to use Autofools, I want to use Glassman (a PH'er) but instead of the £50 excess I have to pay £100.00.

Result.

Going for green with blue top tint.

I didn't want to say too much first time round but just confirmed the order.

Yes, my colour combo is it seems what was offered towards the end of the wedge production.

This company can make anything from a pattern or mould.

Should be fitted by this time next week and will get some photo's.

With the new veneer dash the car is starting to look sweet smile

Strange question, but if it's possible could they take the old one out in one piece, and could you keep it.
As I need a spare so I can use it as a template to make a Lexan screen for the racer.

Hi Leigh,

It's Glassman on PH that is doing the work so I'll see if he can do that.

Nothing wrong with the screen other than the odd chip plus milk on the lower corners caused by dampness getting into the laminations.

It's you're for free if he can get it out in one piece.

An excuse for me to finally get down to see you and your car.

Swap you for your wheels biglaugh

Fingers crossed, the screen will come out without any more damage than it already has. I'll fwd Phil all the pictures along with the screen if everything goes to plan.

Leigh,

you're not answering my pm.

I have my old screen for you. It seems it was a real pain to get out and has a bunch of cracks in it now but it's still in one piece for you to use as a template.

Drop me a line with your number.
