After a lot of hassle, last year, due to unexpected mechanical probs, ie cam was shot. Got the old Wedge on the rollers yesterday and the above graph shows the results so far.

Lost a bit of mid range, but gained a bit at the top end. Might be able to fine tune the mid range back again, but it's probably the new cam from John Eales. Still, it feels good on the road and that's what counts.

Managed to tweak some of the cruising fuel values as well, so that might make it a tad less gutsy. It wasn't that bad anyway, unless you compare it to a Prius or some other green thing

It's lost more than 'a bit', there seems to be a big hole there now. I guess the new cam spec is very different to the old one, so the fuelling may be out. Did they record the AFRs?

I was thinking the cam myself and perhaps will have another tinker to try and regain some of the midrange. I've a few little mods, plenum insulator and new throttle body, for the winter to try as well.

The AFR was leaned back quite a bit, as it was really rich

To start with I suggest you find out what's happening to the AFR. I assume they did measure it during the power runs, and you need to find out what it was doing.

For grins, here mine. 1988 390SE NCK engine. Made 256lb/ft torque, which was nice!

Is yours a flapper?

Used to be a flapper, but Megasquirt with EDIS 8.

That's a really good torque curve on yours. Defo need to tune a bit more on mine.
