Thanks Steve

Not my back Alan, i would always put up with a bit of pain if it meant driving the Wedge.

No this it feels worse than that for me - put it this way, i now face a future..single, therefore a 450 SEAC has become a 'luxury item' frown

Still, could be worse... frown

Wayne - sorry to hear it.

Best of luck. Hope you both manage to work it out but if it comes down to divorce, it's a pretty tough time.

Bad luck Wayne, must be very hard having to part with your pride and joy, had my Wedge over 9 years now and it has been the one 'constant' in my life (that and the dog) it has survived one marriage and one long term relationship but was very nearly sold after the marriage to keep me under a roof, but by hook and crook I managed to keep it.....even if it meant egg on toast for tea a few nights a week, very little in the way of beer tokens and not much left to put fuel in the tank for a year or so, but it was a sacrifice that I thought was worth it and in retrosect I'm glad I scraped it for a while.
So why not put the sale on hold for a month or two until the dust has settled and see how things go?

The issue for me is that the car was bought with 'our' money, therefore, technically half of it is hers! Also, i have no idea where i will end up living and would have no-where to garage her...

I'm sure i could find a solution to both issues but tbh my head is all over the place at mo.. frown

Commiserations from me also Wayne.

Happened to me too, and that's why I sold my 390.

Divorce is a horrible experience, especially when the ex fks off with someone else, as happened in my case.

I now feel the luckiest man in the world though, as I have custody of my wonderful boy.

Good luck.
There'll be more good things (and cars) further down the road I'm sure. smile

I may just have sorted a way to keep my SEAC...mine.

My family have pulled together in the 'Save the SEAC' campaign. smile
