Are wedges OK for day to day use?
Discussion
My 350i is presently very much a "get it out while it's sunny" car at the moment (and hence has seen little use this year!). I presently have a Mondeo part funded by work (impressive, eh?) but there is a possible change there to the provision of a hire car when I need one. So - I'm thinking of promoting the TVR to all year use.
It will certainly need the chassis looking at if I'm to run it around on salty roads, but other than that does anyone know of any reason why this should be a bad idea? I can't imagine covering more than 7k pa in it; my other half also has a daily drive for most occasions.

A few years ago I ran a 350i for over a year as my daily driver with not much hassle really.
The commute involved country roads, motorways and lots of traffic jams and it was fine.
Guess as long as the cooling system etc is ok then you shouldn't have any major problems
I agree about the snow ! A couple of bags of sand in the boot helped with any traction issues
Driving sensibly I'd get about 22mpg on average if that makes a difference.
The only thing that was slightly annoying was demisting the screen in the cold and the wet. The asthmatic heater motor wasn't really up to it but opening the window slightly seemed to do the trick even if it meant that all of that hot air you'd managed to accumulate immediately disappeared
Go for it, what's the worst that could happen
