Yesterday evening I had a look at this rare 420SEAC. This original registration is as far as I know not known in the SEAC register.
The car is in the Netherland for 21 years now and is in bad shape but a good car to restore. Engine is equiped with 4 downdraft carburators.
The owner passed away a couple of years ago and the car is now for sale.

A good project but please don't paint it yellow and re-badge it as a 390SE.

How has it been there for 21 years and still on UK plates?!

Crazy looking dash - a lot of work but a good project for someone with some serious time!

Good luck the lucky buyer!

Cantus (Long Kenyan)

A Seac went missing here a number of years ago alledgedly stolen abroad. I am not saying that this is the car but I know the original owner still posts on Pistonheads.

Do you have any chassis details?

I know the guy in Surrey that had one stolen .. it was a crashed car and was stored in his garage and some stole the crashed car.

I'll email him this thread - as it might be of interest to him.

Are you and Dries coming over to play at Oulton?

I think it is glass because kevlar looks awfull after 22 years.

It is up to Dries !

And no !! Not for my collection. De Long Kenian is in crisis too.

Ed , handbrake is likely underneath steering wheel where it traps the fingers !

I think I remember the car at a Brands track day in the early 90's - I kept a note of it from the time for some reason in a notebook - same reg., dark grey, black hood, full grey leather interior with red piping, NOT kevlar, grey carpets, Tuscan race engine on carbs.

See if I can find more on it.

ETA - right, it wasn't one of the SEAC's at Brands in '93. Racking my brain to think where / when I saw it. Maybe up at TVR Centre at Barnet???
