rocker cover removal
Discussion
Whilst youre at it remove the silly hotspot under the throttle body. Its plumbed into the cooling system, and does nothing on a TVR. Its there so that your V8 landy runs OK in arctic temperatures - not relevant on a Tiv.
Helps keep the charge air a bit cooler and simplifies the plumbing to boot if you remove it.

If this part is removed you can take the left rocker cover off with out taking the top of the plenum off and its only 4 bolts that holds down the cover and mabe a few others screws holding the HT leads down, they say you can get an extra 5hp from not running the inlet heater, you might as well take it off what you have the plenum off as when the heater is taken there are a few bolt holes that will need pluging.Helps keep the charge air a bit cooler and simplifies the plumbing to boot if you remove it.
Good luck

Thanks for posting pic, that shows me what i needed to know.
Have removed the 6 bolts, popped the throttle rod, double checked everything disconnected but can i shift that plenum top..... i think not, even with liberal use of screwdriver, hammer and bad language !!! Anyone got Geoff Capes' number!!

Try Maplin if you have one near you.P.S just one last thing, yep, you guessed it, ive dropped a bolt down a pushrod tunnel, anyone know of a long thin magnet on the market?!!?
Or Screwfix part No 18440 £4.40
Or Agriemach part No PM098300 £2.54
Or CPC p/n D00083 £7.71 - but has a LED at the business end.
Or CPC p/n D00273 £1.31
Plenty of choice out there.
But BEWARE I once stirred all the crud in the bottom of the sump (old Dolly Sprint) which clogged up the oil filter, low pressure when cold, normall when hot.
