Hi

At times prices dont make sense, recently they seamed to be holding and may I dare say going up!

Till this week, two "Wedges" have gone for silly money, I know one needed a lot of work but both went for £1100 or less.

Silly Silly prices!

Andy

I went to see the 2.8 FHC on ebay at 1100 quid.

It was a 2+2 (not mentioned in the ad, but I'd figured it).

Only got a cursory look, as new owner was coming back from test drive.

Initial impressions were....sitting very low, rusty tailpipes, paint possibly non-original, chassis (?). Rusty door frames. Interior, don't know, but rear hatch leaking and original interior out on the lawn pretty much trashed (I didn't ask what had replaced it).

A good few grand to spend there just to make it 'habitable' and a good drive.

You get what you pay for I guess.

Ditto what Graham said its not the price but the price in relation to the condition that matters. Good wedges will always command good prices IMHO

Ah...been re-listed. smile

Last time I messaged the seller and asked if there were any pictures where it wasn't in the dark and covered in muck. hehe

Even lazy tt that I am....would've given it a clean. rolleyes

Sorry, but I wouldn't even get out of my seat to look at a car (or rather - OWNER) like that. It tells me everything I need to know. smile

The quest for the best value Wedge on the planet continues...biggrin
