There are a few names I remember from my wedge then chim then griff days, got rid of the griff in 2006!and been years since I last posted!

Right I'm looking to come back and buy another TVR budget not massive approx 4k and the 420se on ebay has caught my eye! not sure about the colour though!

Have read the other thread on this car but I'm hoping that you gys can give me a brief heads up on its background?

Any other pointers on a good wedge(FOR SALE) would be welcome, prefer an SE model but would consider any V8..

Thanks all and looking forward to being back....

Rob

wavey Hia Rob, how you doing boyo. Nice to see you back. Bin through a few cars myself & always got my eye out in here & on classifieds. I think I'll have to set my anti virus to block classifieds, too much temptation. My mate in Neath just sold his 400SE 'under the radar' so to speak. Something will come up no doubt. thumbup

Haven't seen it in the flesh so I wouldn't want to comment. It was wearing SEAC badges for a while but there are early pictures of it in it's original Black colour with 420SE badges. It was subject to very extensive 'discussion' on here over the last 4-5 years regarding it's pedigree, so it's well known from that point of view. As for chassis condition etc, I don't know.

I've no reason to doubt it's not, but haven't seen the car (unless at one of the Wedgefests).

Personally I'd go and give it a look over though. yes

Thanks Wyn,

Have seen the advert and in my mind she's overpriced!

Have emailed a few people to see if they are prepared to haggle! no mad rush though, I can wait for a good one to emerge!

Thanks
Rob

"This is a fast car"

Compared to what these days - unfortunately your average TD tin top is almost as quick.
I find my 450 SEAC to slow some days - that's it...i'm ruined. frown
