Coming back from London yesterday and as we pulled into Ruislip station..what did i see...?

A red (poss)350 parked in the station car park, it had a Zender rear spoiler.

It looked like it hadn't been moved for quite some time!

Finders keepers? biggrin

Was a pleasant surprise to see it. Didn't get the licence plate unfortunately.

hello wayne, i met the owner on monday last week as i had seen it in the same way you had.
(guy is one of the cabbies in the office there.)
it's an F reg 280 "automatic "!!(took me by surprise that did) Special order ???
Says his brother bought it for him to do up, but he hasn't done so yet!
Gave him my number without appearing a)pushy b)desperate. He wasn't really coming over as someone looking to out it though.
Take it as your profile reads you are out on the met line. Me too, I live in Tricky Ricky but stopped to visit a mate with a Lotus 7 in Ruislip.
P.S. I couldn't beleive my eyes either. Wedge, covered in dirt, in a private car park, series 2......bingo!!! "Must find owner"

Hi Gavin, i must admit it was a surprise to see a Wedge in the station car park.
Not going to do the car any good just sat there month after month - shame.

Lets hope that the guy decides to actually 'restore' the car, or at least let someone else do it... Shame to let it rot

got a cab back from ruislip last night and chatted some more....its an american spec (explains the 280 bit) and you can tell by the bumper (fender) arrangement. Not a left hooker tho !
Bad stress fracture in the windscreen up-right and the paintwork was dead. Bad bad greenery on the roof, and interior is rough (one seat maybe salvageable) Auto as i said.....shame its not on the road !! Just an update

Hmmm....sounds like it would be a proper project then? I don't understand people when they buy a car like this, they're then left to rot!

Get in there Gav! wink

can't wait !! Probably weekend after next (deal done this weekend) as she needs to be trailered back to tricky ricky and havin rouble organising one (thought the place in uxbridge/west drayton rented them, but no!!) Still, need to clear out the garage and it gives me time. Post pics when she is in my possesion. biggrin
Was hoping to make this tunnel run round "the smoke" but realise it's a bridge too far !!

I'm in Iver with my SEAC, once you're sorted and need a wing man, give me a shout!
Be good to make some noise around Ricky & Uxbridge!

Maybe.. wink It does have a rather 'sporty' stainless steel JP exhaust fitted, for that extra...music biggrin

Tbh though, if you have a V8, either 350i, 390SE, 400SE, 420SE/SEAC, 450SE/SEAC...or that single 500SE that's out there - they all sound the dogs! ears
