280i Ignition Switch

Anyone able to tell me what car the igniton switch on a 1980 280i wedge is likely to be off?

I think its possibly Triumph TR7? but would be useful to confirm that or at least know what Manufacturer it was from.

This is a VERY early V6 wedge not a V8 just in case there is any confusion.

Yep, should be TR7.

Cheers for that I thought that was correct nice to have it confirmed.

Aparently its the same as a Rover SD1 (both leyland) as well.

It seems there are 2 types on the wiring front (one has a "flying lead" at each end the other doesn't?) I have one on order that I think is right now thanks for the info.
