Rockers

So I have started my christmas shopping, you know the score, perfume for the the driving instructor (Katie), new camshaft/lifters, dash (thanks HOTTY cheque on the way), new rear shocks, scarf for Katie, exhaust manifolds etc etc etc but the question I seek guidance on is steel or alloy rockers ? What's the advantage

Had Katie freeking out last night after I googled the Romanian road the Top Gear guys drove on Sunday nights programme, distance from Zeebrugge to the road 1,200 miles, reluctantly concided defeat as another 3,700 mile journey would be a journey too far for Kate but still aiming for the Scandinavian tour next year plus a plane trip, I hear the Shetland Isle are quite nice in August !!!
