Well as the title says I have done it again yet another "Wedge" in my TVR stable/garages.
Its another 350i and a project but it should be on the road early in January buy using up all my bits left over from the restoration of Num 1.
Now how do I take it and Num 1 to BBWF 2010?
Any ideas!!!!!!

Paul

Got a trailer and a car to pull it, but that would mean double the number of trips to get both cars there!
Need another idea?

Weld a tow bar to one of your wedges and tow the other behind. I'm sure the V8 would relish the opportunity to use that torque to tow a fairly light load. :P

I had the same dilemma for the 2005 Wedgefest.

Had a red 390 and a red 280FHC at the time...both roadworthy.

The 280 would have been the oldest Wedge there, and a nice car, but the 390 noise and power for the 500 mile return trip swayed it. smile

I thought the second one was for the missus - just fit an auto box. Or stick it in 4th for her, it'll do that all the way ;^)

Adam

Fitting an Auto box is on the menu, (that's only slightly better than fitting a tow bar.)

As Rose is disabled I will have to fit hand controls as well! Then its persuade her to drive it to BBWF.

Well that's the winter project sorted out then!

I currently have 2 Tasmin/280i Wedges, 1 I have owned for just under 2 years.

I bought a "spares kit" but it turend out to be in better nick than the one on the road!

So I thought i'd get the "spares kit" running and maybe use the other one as a spares kit in due course.

The spares kit has not seen the road since 1996! so took a bit of TLC (and a replacement engine! - as the old one was half dead!) to get it working, hopefully it gets an MOT in the next 2 weeks and will be on the road shortly after that.

If all goes to plan I'll run them both for next season, either alternating which one I take to events or maybe both to some events if I can find a "spare" driver.
