This may seem a strange idea to everone, but has anyone ever thought about how many wedge`s of each model still exist ? An idea would be to reply to this post and maybe we can start to get some numbers together of each model if you give model, followed by year, colour and finally convertible or F/H/C. Of course any more information would be a bonus but please no frauds, lets keep this register acurate. (I know there are probably some wedge owners who don`t have a computer or don`t know about this site, if you see one of these poor souls point them in the right direction) If you think I totally crazy or stupid, please tell me under a different Topic "daft bas*ard" would be OK. As someone completly in love with TVR`s I hope all wedge enthusiasts will help compile this and I hope the results will be of interest to everone.

Can I go 50,50 ? If I must be honest there is not a lot of difference. You would be hard pushed to notice 24BHP in general street driving. In terms of ergonomics, the 450 wins hands down. The dash is far better and the column is 100% better than the Rover SD1 affair. In terms of looks... They are both the `ultimate wedge`.

Lightened and balanced transmission? Blimey, are we talking race spec rover 5 speed or a just a well built prop. Does this shift the vibration at 85-90Mph then? Matt

I am bringing a guy with me who is a keen photographer, so if anyone fancies having their photo's taken ... let me know offline J.

4.7 to 60 is pretty impressive especially this time of year. 26th? Is that the event at Kemble? Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

Black 400SE 1989 33K miles. Sports Exhaust (massive flames!!), Quad 45 Dellorto's,4.8 L with high comp. pistons. Lightened and balanced. 218 Hybrid Cam. Big Valve Cylinder Head. Engine Dyno'd @ 362BHP(real!) - essentially mostly Tuscan Spec. Definately past 450SE territory and 500HC's! This beast nearly swopped ends whilst overtaking another car, on a dry motorway, in fourth at 80mph where it will happily chirp its tyres when accelerating!
