the black rubbery ones that go between the front springs and the lower wishbone.
does anyone know where I can get a new pair or some good used ones ??

Im about to start doing the same job, the rubber spring seats are available from RT Racing around the £12 each mark, not sure if thats good or bad.

I would be intrested to know if you encountered any problems before I start

£12 is very good !!
to be honest I've not had any problems at all.
all the suspension bits came off pretty easily.
chassis was a bit of a mess in some areas which I've cleaned up and repainted.
the bushes on the wishbones had been replaced recently leaving me to replace the ARB mount bushes, tie bar to chassis and ARB drop link bushes - which I got from Tower View.
Also replaced both bottom swivel joints.
few more bits to paint then I can put it all back together.
