Take the old one off and find one the same length and cross-section. Granted, you're dealing with a Halfords monkey but even they can do simple comparison...

The water pump/fan belt that was fitted to my 350i recently came from Rimmer Bros GCB11125 which is 1125 x 10mm.Fitted perfectly.
Be careful as some people were quoting a longer belt for the 350i
