After changing my oil I had no oil pressure (350). I didnt have chance to try again until today and tried the Adam Quantril method. Refitted pre-filled filter (after denting the thing getting it back off), spun her over and oil pressure light went out. Left it 5 mins whilst pratting about clearing up spilt oil. Re-fitted king lead, spun her over - light stays on now frown Any ideas why the oil pressure has dissapeared again?

To cap it all she didnt even try to fire. As I said in my previous post on this subject, when I was trying to get pressure up before, I was getting arcing out of the top of the coil with the king lead off - then it stopped. Any ideas on what I have Bcensoreded up?

Cheers

Could be a dodgy filter. I think some of them have a flap in to prevent the oil from draining back.

Sean, you may have popped the ignition amplifier (side of dissy, usually). Or the coil itself may have got fed up of running an open-circuit and burnt out. But you might get lucky and it's just blown the 20A fuse that feeds the ignition coil wink
