If you feel bad now Steve, wait 'til after you sell the 450!
Daft question mate, its a one off and could have happened even if you had a Montego Turbo.
Understand you feel like shite but wait a couple of days to simmer down. Then ask yourself the same question.
I think I know what the answer will be!

Obviously the main thing is your wife is physically ok..TVR's and gold are poor comparisons to serious injury or even loss of life.
Take it easy both of you........try anyway.
There are good guys out there...most of them seem to drive TVR's
(Oh yeah..DON'T sell the sausage egg and chips)
Wayne.

Steve thats really awfull news. I hope your wife's okay.
Can you get the car secure garaged & out of site? To sell the car would be a wrench. I had to bail out of the sale of mine as I couldn't face it going. IMHO your car is the definitive Wedge. (Full SEAC spec'd 450 & the press car).
Keep yer spirits up and give your good lady loads of luv
Good Luck

Sorry to hear the news - see my other posting. Don't sell the car. It is one of the things to which you have an attachment. If you sell it, the b***er will have got you one more time. Balance it against the things yo have lost - "At least he didn't get the Tiv" should be the attitude.

Steve -
I am truly shocked to hear this. I felt the colour drain from my cheeks and my lips curl downwards as I read your tale. This was a truly horrific experience for your wife - lots of cuddles required methinks.
You shouldn't sell the TVR as it is your pride and joy - and it is now the really famous one. On the other hand it may end up being forever associated with this incident and serve as a constant reminder. The decision must really be with you - do what you want to do.
All I can do is offer you my hearfelt wishes and finest regards in the hope that you and your wife will recover from this, and that the perpetrator is duly caught and properly punished.

S/S can only echo other comments made, main thing is yer missis is OK, I'm sure she is very shaken.
If you sell the SEAC you may as well curl up cos then the scum have won, take some time and refuse to be beaten, I know you will.
Focus on the positive e.g. BBW Fest for one!
Best regards to you both.

Steve,
Well firstly : Hope you wife get's over this.
Talk to the police.
Think about security - external lights, where you live (are you now happy with the area..), car garaged (out of sight ..) I don't have a garage but rent one quite cheaply from the council..
Personal defence course etc..
I'm sure you've already thought of these though !

Agree with everyone else of course, get yourself a rotweiler dog to look after you your family and your personal belongings. If the shite heads fancy it you know what to do. It's about time this crap so called goverment stopped bloody talking and smiling and got on with doing some good for this country of ours.
Keep your SEAC at leasdt for two more months then see how you feel. Best of luck and wish you and your wife well.

Thoughts go with you and the missus It can't be esy to deal with.
CCTV & video has got to be the way to go. might not stop the low life but You may be able to find out who it is
Combine this with a rotweiller and you may also be able to watch the b'stard get his balls chewed
As regards the Wedge - KEEP IT. What else would you buy that wasn't a target for some idiot. At least with the SEAC it's rare so what can they do with it? pity they havn' t got the sense to realise that

Steve if you sell the SEAC what will you replace it with.I mean any other sports car is just as likely, and in many cases,to be more desiriable to the scum.So could you and do you want to drive a boring car
So no you shouldn't sell, you should enjoy the car and what it brings to your life.
Hope the misses is doing ok
Dont let the ba5tards get you down!

Sorry to hear about it. Seems to be a regrettable risk of owning a decent car - I guess we all have tales of similar experiences over the years. Unless you've got access to "safe" parking everywhere you go the only answer to save a lot of worrying is to run some cheap old car as well to reduce the risks.
