Depends entirely on condition & circumstance.

Quite rare, but seems to be 1 white one that comes up quite regulary for sale and changes hands smile

I reckon between £6k to £10k depending on condition

Ha ha. I guess that you might have been disappointed with the upper value there for your old car as well. Unless the asking prices bear no relation to what people are accepting I' say that the price range is more like £3K (chassis+reqd) to £16K? (nicely modified, revs? more?)

Paul,

For £6K you'll get a SEAC that needs more than a little TLC.

I speak from personal experience.

I won't embarass you or me by telling you how much I've spent on my £6995.00 SEAC and I've not even started.

Body comes off chassis for a thorough resto as soon as Henry stops spending money on his 450SE.

Well I don't recall a 420 SEAC for over £10k recently, and yes the more exotic 450 SEAC I would expect to be over £10k.

I don't think I'd buy one under £6k due to amount of work probably needed

I bought the 400 for £6k 5 or 6 years ago and although tidyish also needed a lot of work - Still does yikes

Probably another £5k on the 4.5 BV engine and fuel injection, suspension, seats, 16 inch oz wheels, and diy respray and carpets

Still needs a whole lot more on mappable ecu, interior refurb and a pro respray, but fortunately chassis has been generally rust free

You won't get a clear answer, as it IS dependent on condition.

I wouldn't expect a roadworthy one to come up for sale under £8,000...and if it does, it won't be available for long. wink

ALL Wedges are rare, and the SEACs are the rarest and the most sought-after.

Over the past year or so I've been de-modifying my SEAC back to 'standard', so a part from a few suspension/brake modifications and the 16" rear OZs, it's now very much as it left the factory. I'm very pleased with the result - and yes I still need to get those headlights sorted......and some proper side SEAC decals. When I was taking photos today a guy came over to look at the car and have a chat and knew all about the SEACs which makes a pleasant change!

In order to get the car truly back to factory spec you'll be wanting to swap those 16's for a pair of 15's & some money your way then. biggrin
