Nurburgring - any advice?
Discussion
My advice would be to plan to stay there for a couple of days (or have the option to stay another day) as they have a really bad habbit of closing the public time for manufacturers to test!
This happened to us last summer when we went but was on our last day so had to get back the following morning for a ferry...
Take a spare pair of pants though as i believe it is quite hairy!

be aware of cooking your brakes, one of the things i noticed when i went last year is that my brakes weren't cooling enough and by the time i was half way round i couldn't predict which way the car was gonna dive in the corners.
Also, i wouldn't attempt in the wet and be aware that track conditions can vary massively during a lap.
Ensure your cooling is good as you can be crawling in traffic for about 10mins whilst waiting to get off the track.

Wouldn't like to be a passenger with him. He'd have gone faster if he'd have kept more traction & got his gears in the right holes.
Hat's off though, fookinell....Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
