Have finally finished my project to renovate suspension and brakes, It's taken a long time and been frustrating at times but i'm really pleased with the results. Some before, during and after pics follow. In summary, it's had:

Gaz shocks all round
New springs
Shot blasted and powder coated front suspension with new joints, bushes, drop-links, bearings, brake-pipes etc.
330 mm vented and drilled discs
Brembo calipers from a Mitsubishi Evo

Brakes are still to bed in properly but the difference is incredible already. Ride and handling are also totally transformed.

They're Azul Speedmesh from the US, 8 x 18 with 35 mm offset - theres a picture on my member page thingy that shows how they look on the car.

The brake conversion was custom made by: http://www.caprisport.com/ . They've done a fantastic job, all parts made in ally - really nice workmanship and they mate up to the standard stub axles. It was apparantly a bit of a nightmare to find discs etc. that had the right dimensions but they managed it the end. If you fancy getting them to do some for you remember that you'll need 18 inch wheels to fit it all in!

Looks great....well done. smile

Always interesting to see (more modern) alternative braking for the Wedge, and those really fill up the wheels nicely.
