H Bomb is going on the rolling road at austec for a bit of a tune up. What sort of power should i expect?
My dad's chimaera did 205bhp @ the crank, so hopfully i should be able to better that without the hinderance of cat's and such.

I'll plump for 230bhp,my reasoning is most chimps Paul see's go around 205 to 210 the V8S 230bhp+.

So i guess your 4l is more like mine than a chim

Well I guess I'm excluded from the betting but it's had a Mark Adams chip change and RR tune if that helps !

Well funk me if Steve wasn't the closest!

First run it managed 236.7 at the crank, then with a few tweaks a cool 245.8 and a niiiice 2 foot flame out of the exhaust (which made me jump out of my skin....) 255lbft of torque too.

Cheers Austec, it was worth the wait.

I'm sooo close to 200bhp at the wheels (196.1), where's me NOS kit.....

p.s. your SEAC looks nice rev.

Dave .. very impressive .. has the engine been modified or is that a std 4.0 !

I'm hoping mine will produce a bit more than that
(else Austec and MA will get fired..)

Glad the SEAC is still there and OK - missing it like crazy.

I'm dead pleased with it, I would have been happy with anything over 200bhp, but to find i've got an MA chip and 245bhp is 'kin tastic. and then there were the flames.....

wot you having done to your engine rev'?
