What's the Secret

Hi

I have just got a new set of venners from "Hotty" which I want to fit to my winter project 350i.
I have decided to remove the dash and other panels so I can fit them properly. The item causing me concern is the panel on the glove box lid. Removing the lid is no problem it's the insert!

(See pic of panel I mean)



So before I attack it with hammers, chisels, jig saws etc is there a Secret for it's removal!

the leather(?) covered panel on the inside of the glovebox flap is stuck on. Ease it off, and there are two M6 studs and nuts behind. These secure the veneered panel on.

Edit to say the inside cover panel is the one with the fuseboard schematic on it. Mine wasnt that well stuck on...

just prize off the backing and you will see 2 x 10mm nuts. Pop those off, give the bolts a slight tap and the insert will drop away.

It worked and I now have the insert of and in my office, this will give me some thing to do during the evenings this week!
