Hi there! Thats the kind of project that can easily run away..

Parts wise, here is where you need to look http://www.b-link.co.uk/tet/tvr-400.php and thats £900 for the part!

BUT...thats before we wven think about what's underneath the body...

Dont let me put you off, they are great cars and if the rest of the car is a goodun it could be worth saving...shame to see another come off the road.

Good luck! thumbup

That the one at Peterlee? I know of a 400SE that was sold with much less damage for not much more than £1400 - and I declined to buy that one because it needed quite a bit doing to get it to a decent standard.

Cannot be the one at Peterlee as that has rear end damage too.

Brian were is this motor at, do you have any pic's which may show a little more.

I've repair a damaged 350, it takes a lot of time and once you start taking things apart you end up buying lots of new bits, costs can get away a bitrolleyes

Well Brian did put

"Needs a nose and 2 wings and rear end back quarters are ok tho" which I took to mean rear end damage... but now I'm not sure how the rear end is damaged but not the 'quarters'...!
