what value of an old wedge
Discussion
hi guys, a chap down the road from me has been trying to sell his wedge for a couple of months now, its been rather sadly parked in an out of the way road with only his mobile number in the window, the thing is I`ve had a couple of brief glances at it and am wondering about saving the old girl and give it a new lease of life, plus it`ll give me another project to play with.
I don`t have any info as yet, but as it hasn`t sold, I assume he is not really an enthusiast, as its not been seen advertised via the tvr club, or on here, and it looks pretty tired, I`m pretty sure the wheels are not original, and I think its a 350, soft top, with rear discs next to the diff, no badges ect on the boot as a give away.
so, if it has any sort of mot, and assume chassis needs a good get at what would be a reasonable offer?
are all parts easy to get, is it all ford running gear?

Hi Clive !
Well, now that I've stopped admiring your fabulous machine
and watching all your excellent videos...I've forgotten the question
Oh yes; well start off minimum £1,000 for a 350 basket case, add to that another £1,000 if it has a few months MOT and can be legally driven home at night, and reliably for at least 200 miles, after that it's up to you how much you want to lavish on your new toy. (To be fair to other owners, these are MINIMUMS)
Chassis chassis chassis !
Your being a skilled welder/fabricator may well be the deciding factor.
Oh ETA: front brakes, wishbones, most of steering Ford. Backend mostly Jaguar. Bits inbetween mostly TVR. Parts availability quite good.
