Heater Fan

Hi

Has anybody replaced the heater fan on a series 2 350i.

The one on my project when switch on makes so much noise you can,t here the engine!

I have another fan which is nice and quiet.

But how do you fit it, there don't appear to be any fixings or is it just stuck in the hole?

Mine was held in with self tappers. Fan and mounting flange just pulled out

My Series 2 350I suffers from this too!

Is the motor from another car... Rover SD1...?
