side indicators

I know this is a really dumb question, but can you simply pull the side repeaters out from the front wing or do you have to get them out from behind. Ive given mine a bit of a tug, but they didnt want to budge. Dont want to pull it too hard in case i break something!

On mine, you twist the indicator to the left to line up the lugs with cutouts in the GRP, the pull out.
