Mk2 now running well enough that I think I have to bite the bullet and let the Mk1 go which is a bit naff really. Have been chewing over which one to keep for ages and I'm still not really sure...they both have their good points. The Mk1 has better lines I think, I like the bonnet bulge and the sharp angles, I just think the Mk2 is more of what I want in a Wedge - it's just a bit more relaxed (softer?) with the power steering etc. and I have the Griff for ten tenths driving. The 350i wedge is just such a fab touring car - it has to be the most comfortable sports car ever for long distance trips. (Ah. Just realised that all wedgeheads will now be thinking why doesn't he just sell the Griff and keep both wegdes? smile Anyway if someone really wants a good Mk1 or can persuade me that it's actually the Mk2 that should go, drop me a line. Alternatively if you think I should find a way to keep both, please provide argumentation for girlfriend & bank manager that is water tight and totally logical. Thanks.
