If its all good except the accident damage, and the chassis and suspension are OK... Dunno, 1000 quid at a guess? Interior looks good, engine bay could do with some Autosol and a clean.

So you've got to be able to repair it and for it then to owe you around its pre-collision value for it to make economic sense. I would think theres a good 3 grand in bodywork to be done, if it is to be done really well and not a bodgit & sellit. Plus theres the issue of getting hold of the Fuego rear light clusters, which are as rare as RHS.

Edit: Hmmmm, looked at pics again, theres more than 3 grand in repairs there.....

That's my old car, written off recently and will be CAT C, durings its winter rebuild a wall covering fell on it purely cosmetic but I had the body off, chassis rails were replaced, good mechanics but interior was stripped so needs new leather, dash etc etc
Miss the old car, two fantastic euro hoons so hopefully someone will finish it off the way I wanted

Was that the car that was pictured by the colliseum in Rome the other year.

Real shame for it to end up being broken after just paint work issues..

Looking very good for < £1000 at the moment.

Yep thats the one frown

If anyone is interested in the good, the bad and the ugly !!!

Good
Engine, gearbox etc all very good, engine had 61k on it as it replaced my old unit, gearbox is good, diff good, new clutch last year, brakes good, had its body off during the winter and the chassis was remorked with new outriggers etc. Fuel/cooling systems good but was going to replace all pipework with s/steel tubing and hoses, hood good

Bad
As part of its winter rebuild it was going to have new shocks/springs, all polybushed though, brake pipes were going to be replaced, needs a proper servo unit.

Ugly
Interior was pretty poor and the dash/door trims etc were removed as new leather covering were going to be made, seats shot and need new covers/foam etc, again these were going to be done

Anyone any info ley me know

Cheers

This thread has gone a bit wrong, we are now talking about two 400se's. The one at Copart the other at HBC
