WTF

I think i may have seen apicture of this unit before, its above the fuel pump and filter, "in line" tank to pump.
It is (dangerously) close to the exhaust, held on by tie wraps, and the joint is shot and possibly about to start a fire. WTF is it, is it a pre-pump filter, and do i really need it ???
Also, the motor on my driver side window is a gonner, so need a new one (including the mechanism)any out there, what car is it off ?? and does anyone know what the indicator/side light unit is off for my car (series 1 350)

I was talking to 'NTEL' (Dave Chant) at Cadwell today, and he had a box of Wedge bits, including complete light pods with (round type) lights, front indicator/sidelight units and other stuff (maybe a window motor,cos the racers don't need em). He was asking if anyone needed the parts.

He's a hell of a nice guy, so maybe drop him a PM.

Sounds like a pre pump filter has been added (not standard)
Window mechanism is Rover SD1 often on ebay for around £20/£25 or www.Rimmerbros.co.uk
