Hi
are you able to get a trolley jack under? if so try jacking it up and spinning individual wheels to find out which are seized. There is also a possibility that it could be stuck in gear/clutch stuck etc, which can happen after a period of storage.

Had this once with the wedge and just gave it more revs and hoped (tried my luck that day) it would be ok, and it was. Wedge had just been parked for a couple of weeks. Everytime when stationary for longer and I had no issues, and no issues since!

As an alternative used on another car, stored over a few years in this case: each wheel lifted and with 'doing the wheel bolts up' principle undid one at a time. Has also worked on wheels with drum brakes.

In the worst case would hit the brake pads briefly with a hammer...., as it just needs a type of shock threatment to free them.
Hope you get it sorted.

There is a lashing eye under the back of the car near the diff.

Failing that you could put a rope around one or both of the rear driveshafts, but avoid the brake pipes, and pull it out slowly, they should be strong enough to do this as long as it's not uphill.

Have you tried charging the battery, taking out the plugs and getting it moving on the starter?

I know the car isn't running but could you do this?

Get a big strong rope around the diff cage or other strong chassis area and hoyke her out. Make sure she's in neutral. My MG brakes seize up overnight if it's been wet. rolleyes

This one gets my votesmile
If it's a rear brake (caliper locked up) undoing the bleed screw to release pressure may free it.
If it's gearbox/clutch.
Remove prop shaft.

Hi Mark

Where in Bradford are you?

I use a local garage in Idle who has worked on my 350i then my 400SE and also Taffos 350i
Auto Technology 01274 613957 Kevin (generally cheaper than next option)

I also use a Rover V8 specialist who also knows TVRs in Kirkstall,Leeds
Andy Turner on 0113 278 4003 (more expensive but certainly knows his stuff on Rover V8s)

Call me if you need any more help 01274 411500

Cheers
Richard

That sounds like a classic case of overfuelling, most likely cause is the engine temp sensor, a £15 part and 10 minutes to fit.

I'd remove the plug from the ECU coolant temp sensor (as Adam said), and bridge the connections with a 175 Ohm resistor (or just a bit of wire for testing).

Try and fire it up, but the plugs might need taking out and cleaning / drying.
