Jobs done/to do this weekend:

Fit new rad
Fit new stainless header tank thingy.
Fit new track rod ends.
Polybush all round.
New Gaz coilovers all round.
New front calipers.
Convert rear drums to discs.

I'm aching all over. biggrin

Knew I'd forgotten something...mis-fire on (2.9) engine to sort out, not to mention valve gear that sounds like a bag of nails, oil and all filters change.

Only wish I could be arsed to do such things to my own car these days. rolleyes

Hi Stephen. smile

Yes, all done and dusted...in fact just re-connected the ARB, tightened the wheelnuts, and sent him roaring off in it this evening.

The owner is a novice, but we did have the assistance of a 'proper' mechanic and his full workshop facilities most of the time, I might add.

Shiny new disc conversion:

Hope you are both going to join us for a run down to Chatsworth this Sunday Graham

A nice leisurely run down over Holme Moss and down thru some great Derbyshire roads

Over 30 TVRs ran down together from West Yorks last year
then nearly 700 TVR at Chats was a great sight
although just not enough Wedges

Hope to catch up soon

Cheers
Richard

Yes Lee. smile

Did he offer to help you with your car at Snetterton ? wink

Not me...don't want to be blamed for anything. hehe

I can carry stuff and push though.

Richard:
Looks like I'll be having a ride down with Nick in his S2, as I'm just too knacked to bother driving there after doing 150 miles a day with work. Might change my mind though.
It would be good to meet a few guys off the forum. smile

Well (all being well) I'll be out on the run on Saturday, and there for the full day on Sunday. As has been said the weather forecast looks good; but that never bothers us Wedgers eh guys.

Yes, just needed a little bit of grinding to seat correctly in the bearing carrier, the ABS ring taking off, and slight alteration to handbrake mech'. Obviously that pic was taken before polybushes and new coilovers fitted. smile

coilovers ?
Any pic's of them as I still don't know what they are.

Standard change for the "s" model ?

They're about £600 a set for TVR S series, but they have a TVR fabricated front wishbone set-up, unlike our Wedges.

If you google 'Gaz shock absorbers' it will throw up a few pics for you. smile
