My workplace is feeling the effects of the downturn, and looks like I'm going to have to move on soon if I want to maintain my (and my boy's) standard of living.

I've therefore decided to sell the 390 and put something back in the bank.

Yes it's a shame, but a great opportunity for anyone looking for a really good Big Bad Wedge.

She's on the classifieds.

I'll buy another when things have sorted themselves out. rolleyes

I'll have another in time for BBWF - just hope it won't take too long to find one as good.

My son is about to sit his GCSEs and I don't want him to see his dad stressed out about jobs, money etc.

I'll probably have to take commission only work, and you need something behind you until the cash starts rolling in. Sensible head needed right now.

Not a good feeling putting the wedge up for sale, got to be one of my biggest regrets moving the sx on.

Aw mate so sorry to hear. I saw her on the PH classifieds and thought i'd seen it before.

If only i had the cash. She'd be on her way to sunny Australia.

Good luck and if she's still for sale when i have some spare change, i'll get in touch!

Weve not quite met Graham but this is bad news for any TVR enthusiast. Hope you get it sorted even though your priorities are spot on.

Thats a big shame Graham, but it did make me think....

Have you spoken to Dave (NTEL) ?
He has a wedge FHC with a diesel engine in it...

2 birds with one stone?

Lol! biggrin

I have just spoken to a gentleman who is also interested in my 390 (now possibly sold), who has TWO 450 NCK engines for sale, both fully re-built, one totally complete and with gearbox, ecu and stainless exhaust, the other complete up to plenum, but other bits needed (like injectors). lick

He says they are ex-SEAC. The fully re-built one is # NCK 218. (my '88 390's is NCK 201).

I said I'd ask around on the forum for him, and he's emailed me his phone number if anyone has an interest. Not sure how much he's wanting. smile

Ooh...maybe I should ask him to put one on one side for me. scratchchin

Graham, I'm gutted that you've had to sell, however I'm glad it's gone to a great home with Rob.
