Yes I know only a dipstick could manage to break the original, but hey I didn't get my name without workign at it.

So does anyone have a standard Ford 2.8 dipstick I could buy off you?

Its a standard OEM Ford part. I think the part number is listed on the wedge parts interchange list. Mine didn't stay in place real well, went to a local ford dealer and picked one up for $4.00. I know he found it at another dealer so it might be discontinued. I'd be happy to send ya my old one for shipping if you want though and can't find one. It might not be too cheap going across the pond and all.
