As the title states, I need a rear brake caliper for my 350i as mine had a snapped bleed nipple and the cast housing broke when I attempted to drill it and used an easy out (which wasn't easy!!). The caliper is the N/S (left) and I would even take the outside half of a caliper as the two halfs bolt together with 4 bolts. The bleed nipple will has to be free as they snap pretty easily. I stay in Glasgow and can collect if not too far away or would pay for next day delivery. Thanks guys.

Same thing happend to mine, Tried welding a nut to it, then drilling and tapping, but no luck. But weighing it all up they had seen better days and the dust seals were on there way out, so bought a new pair from these chaps

Is it still fluid-tight - no leaks? If so you can bleed it by loosening the input pipe and letting the air out, finish by pressing the piston in a bit, then nip up the union.

Good idea Adam.

Just a wee update. I managed to order a recon caliper from my local motor factors for £67 plus vat and a £10 surcharge and was ready to collect within 3 hours of me ordering it. The same caliper is on ebay for £150!!! Its always worth a trying the local motor factors. Just have to fit it and thats the wedge ready to go after 14 years stored in a lockup garage!!!

Thanks for the replies.

I'm afraid I have to give Leigh the credit for that idea! Worked for me though.
