Tunerstudio MS for Megasquirt - excellent

I just paid and registered my copy of TunerstudioMS. Its excellent, and the autotune functionality is utterly superb. Recommended for people doing MS conversions any day.

Only word of warning is: get the map half decent manually first, and keep the surface plot looking smooth. The automated tools do tend to make the map a little spikey if you give them lots of authority. Ultimately, overall trends on the map will be towards higher VE as the load goes up, and higher VE as the revs rise until you hit your peak torque figure. So if the map ripples from point to point, it needs smoothing.

I also booked into Ettington for wedgefest today, so I'd be more than happy to bore the arse off anyone who wants to know about my MS2 conversion then!

Managed to get 1 rim split today, boy that was tough getting the 2 rims apart, not sure what the black sealant was but will need some more of that !

I will phone the hotel to make sure that the booking staff know about the hog roast - but don't worry, they should automatically add it to the bill unless you specifically tell me you don't want it in advance.

Ed, would you be interested in doing a presentation of your MS experiences and showing the software too? We have the use of the function room all afternoon and there's a projector in there too so you can plug in a laptop and show eveyone what's what.
