From the M1 which way are you lot coming down ?

A38/ M42 /M40 or M42 /M40 or some other route ? I live in Burton -on -Trent and wouldn't mind linking up to have the run in, I am sure pilo-wedgebits and another 400 owner wouldn't mind either.

Looking at your possible route via the m42 I could chat to the others to organize but would sugest the services at ashby. If you let me know what route to confirm ?

I think we came down the M69 last time and then joined the Fosse Way as a good road to blast down on
but as the others I am happy to meet up and run down together in a group if we can
as long as it isn't adding 100 miles and hours to our journey

If you are eventually going down the fosse and can ring me to give an approx time/join up point at fosse, then I wouldn't say no to tagging along .

About 3 months ago the beloved and I attended a Birthday weekend in Stratford (had a great time in the live music venue in the town).
Looking at the map and seeing that a interesting route would be the Fosse way ( for me under the M69 onto the A5, down the Fosse way vertually to the hotel for the BBWF so able to take a look .....bob's you thing )
On the A5 it was looking a bit dark in the sky, by the time i turn on to Fosse way the heavens opened, christ it came down.
Pulled over, scrambled for the hood (boot locked) turned the key so i could open the boot, some tcensoredr pulled by the side of me asking for direction to the fcensoredg zoo. By the time i told him the quickest directions I could me and the beloved were soaked rolleyes
Whether it was just because we were soaked and a little p/o but that was the bumpest road I 've been down for some time.
But hopefully i'll not notice that when i am trying to keep up with you lot drivingdrivingdriving
It's likely to be the same in the evening, with me trying to keep up drink

After coming down the M1 and the M69 the Fosse Way just seems like a breathe of fresh air
and as it isn't the fastest road from A to B then most of the idiots stay on the motorways.

I find the single carriageway with plenty of overtaking spots to be a great way to finish our journey

I am still happier doing any other route if it allows more Wedgers to join the fun
(but draw the line at going via S Wales!!!)

Right lads

What time do you think you will be at the A5/Fosse Way junction, only approx will do as you have a bit further to travel , there is a big layby to sit in if we have to wait ?

We want to add to the convoy with the few cars from Burton.

Hopefully we can all link up with combine too.
