He's in Germany which does not bother me with only £9.00 shipping.

I need a set.

NO!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UPPER-LOWER-BALL-JOINT-SET-F...

This one is though!!

I fitted lower ball joints from this guy a few months back and they are spot on.
The lower ones had obviously been changed at some point before as they already had boltss, not rivets, holding them on, the top ones were good but were still the original riveted ones.

Agree, although I paid just under that for QH products from my local motor factor. Prior to this I did make the mistake recently of purchasing upper/lower ball joints and track rod ends from ebay, looked a bargain and they quoted a QH number. However when they arrived they looked OK but the tolerances/bolt holes were out and on closer inspection no numbers stamped. Incidentally all EU products should carry some markings, this led me to believe these were probably a product from China and considering the criticality of the item they went into the bin.

Seems that good joints have a possibility to be greased, and could be a criteria to separate good from less good...
Greasing seems necessary to have a decent life out of them on a wedge. Don't know by which this is caused, perhaps higher cornering forces due to our driving style wink

Having recently stripped and rebushed my front suspension, I found that one top joint was the original (rivetted) 1987 fitment and was still serviceable, whereas the opposite side lower, which I fitted probably only 2000-3000 miles ago, is shagged.

Last set I got were from South Wales Propshafts who also do all the bushes... think it was about £80 all-in for all bushes, TREs and balljoints, including postage.

I went for QH replacements. Good value and well made also quite cheap too.

Any of the above come with said grease nipples?

If not then I'll go for the £39 quid package.

I think sealed ones are fine, I've done quite a lot of miles and none have given up.
