After a while I have finally been offered a figure near what it was insured for ! Still to aggree it , but at least I'm getting somewhere

Now do I buy a cheap Wedge to get me around in for a year or so, or sit on the side lines and fix mine every weekend yikes

Anyone know if the Red 400 is still available ? As could buy her , take a mould and sell her at Wedge Fest smile
Anyone know of other 400's that are available for @ 3k needing lots of work ?
Anyone know of 400 in breakers that you can buy whole car ?

Paul,

Do you mean that even with an agreed value policy the insurer will not pay that value? Who's the insurer?

That's a bh, what going to happen to all the bits that are ok. shame you sent time on it, and get some replacement parts.
I hope they are going to give you the full agreed value, if they are making it cat B

Paul
Shame about not being able to keep the car as you had already started.
Good to see that you are going to be paid out.
You mentioned about a 400 that may want a bit of work ? Would that be still the case even if you lost yours, the reason i ask is if you remember a green 400 having a knock front and back (hormones car ) was brought by Bay Hill Motors (I think thats their name) TVR brakers from Gloucester area.
I have not see it advertised by them, it may already be gone, but I think they brought it for about 2k

HOTTY (met you at shaun' when you were collecting some car bits)
