K and N Air filter
Discussion
Can't help with the part number, but they are prety robust filters, and last for ages. I've had mine for 10+ years. Unless it's actually damaged, you could try to clean and re-oil it. I clean mine in a shallow tray of warm soapy water, several times to remove all the dirt. Flush from the inside out with cold water to rinse, and let it dry naturally for a day. Re-oil with K&N aerosol oil.

Is your existing filter a K&N or the original foam jobbie? Just replaced my original knackered looking foam one with a K&N. TVRCarparts.com supply them but you can get them elswhere too. I'll have a look later.
Yep it's an old KN one,but the part number on it does not show up I saw TVR carparts sold a replacement.. but being tight I thought it maybe cheaper elsewhere.Would be much appreciated if you can find a P/N on yours, for now I'll clean the original up as suggested above.
Righty-ho
I've done some digging....this looks like the chappie
http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=...
It's the same dimensions all round as the present filter on the car....not that means much I guess.
but is it the right one that was fitted in the first place?
