Yep all good,

Working on wedding arrangements for next year.

Just had the wedge serviced and MOT'd, had a weeping high pressure fuel line which had started to perish - I was very lucky, as Ii could smell petrol but couldn't see any leaks. While the car was in the garage, the altenator went - luckily no damage.

All well and good now, ready for the wedgefest!

Speak soon,

Mani

Yep, time to move it on. Nope, I'm withdrawing from BBWF. I've had a few enquiries and one chap came to take a look, but it wasn't his bag in the end.

I'm a little hesitant to put it in Autotrader, but I will probably do that in the next week if it doesnt sell through PH.

What did you seal the wheels with when you put them back together ?

It was done by a company in southampton, but I believe any decent quality setting or semi-setting mastic will do the trick. Leave the final half turn of tightening of the bolts until the mastic has gone off because the set sealant needs to be preloaded to prevent the tyre pressure loads putting the sealant layer into tension and then it would start to peel from the metal surfaces and leak. half a turn or so is all thats needed.
