Aftermarket cat/Part Filter
Discussion
Does anyone know of an aftermarket cat and/or particle filter that can be installed to a 1989 350i?
Also looking for a pair of original OZ wheels that are ROUND. My car had been stood for a while and the wheels are now oval - not a pleasant driving experience.

I agree with TVRLeigh, there's no way that the wheels will have deformed just through standing and supprting the weight of the car. The tyres can develop flat spots over a long period of standing, which is why durig any period of long storage the car should be supported on axle stands with the weight off of the tyres. With a bit of driving, they may rectify themselves.
As for a cat, I don't think were fitted to any Wedges by the factory, as UK regulations did not require it at that time. Why do you want to fit one now?

It's most definately the wheels that are out of round. The wheels without tyres have been spun on a balancing machine and they are egg shaped. I've seen it with my own eyes and was also surprised.
My TVR lives in Germany where the tax for such a car with a large engine and no emission control is truly outrageous - 800/900 Euro. This + Insurance may put owning this great car out of reach. I'll have to wait 9 years before the car has historic status
