Hi

I Started this post as a differant angle to the other (Wedge parts at BBWF.)

Instead of people saying what they have, this is for people to ask for parts they need and let's see what can be found for BBWF!

Andy.

I tell you what Phil, restore the SEAC with the 4 clock dash & I'll do a deal with you for my 5 clock dash 450SE. You'll have a car that's more rare & a 5 clock dash. My ultimate machine is a 4 clock dash SEAC, in white, with a black 4 clock interior......... cloud9 .....

Phil's SEAC completely demolishing my 4.3 Chim for looks, presence, noise, desirability etc at last years Chimp 'Roar'........

In fact, seeing your car at 'The Roar' last year put me on a mission to get another Wedge. yes

SEAC's are catchy little numbers... wink

personally I love my 4 clock dash, it's TVR history...how it is meant to be.
But I'm not knocking Phil for wanting to change his...each to their an all smile

If we are talking wants at WF then I want a 4 16" Oz split rims please! (Leigh...) wink

Hi Wyn,

I kept those photo's of yours the first time round in my on-line album.

My dash is pretty much out of the car right now.

Once restored I don't want to have to have to change dashes for fear of doing damage.

So, if you would like to consider the swap best we do it sooner rather than later.

As you know I had my veneer redone at great cost just because I like perfection.

Everything else is black.

unfortunately the change is not that simple you can not just change the centre veneers, my previous posting did identify that you would have to change the complete dash, which is the fibreglass section complete.
This is not the end of the world as we know it, to ensure min amount of changes necessary you would join the two just before the gearlever (as the tunnel section of the SEAC is narrower). This way you would not have to move the handbrake.
You would have to re-leather the dash complete after somebody has restyle the two parts back together.

Hi Stephen,

...and there was I thinking that the SEAC's tunnel was still too wide up where it meets the dash.

You'll have to go through this dash change with me again up at the fest.

Hi

I think I have one, I will bring it to BBWF, in fact I may have two, one is plain with just TVR on it whilst the other has Use Mobil oil on it (In colour)
That one I believe is now quite rare so it will need a few more beer tokens than the plain one.

At this rate I will be pissed all weekend.

It's on the M4 just before the A449 turn off to Usk! Saw it bounce into the shrubs!
